"At a meeting of the Dispute Resolution Authority (LFS) of the World Trade Organization on November 21, a decision was made to establish an arbitration panel in a dispute initiated by Russia to appeal additional US duties on steel and aluminum imports," reports RIA Novosti press service of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development .

Earlier, Russia's Economic Development Minister Maxim Oreshkin, in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper, said that the country has good prospects to challenge US duties to the WTO.

October 18, it became known that Russia filed the first request for the establishment of a dispute panel.
