Futures for Brent crude for April delivery rose 0.60% to $ 64.96 a barrel.
The March futures for WTI crude oil went up by 0.50%, amounting to $ 54.68 a barrel.
Earlier, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said that Venezuela, due to US sanctions, will increase oil supplies to Asian countries.
