After Apple's warnings for disappointing sales figures, Chinese retailers are massively selling the iPhone this week. Certainly six large providers will lower prices. According to experts, this reflects the difficult performance of Apple in the second economy of the world.

The discounts at web giant Suning run up to 154 euros for the iPhone 8 and 103 euros for the newly launched iPhone XR. A sale just so short after the launch of a new model is remarkable.

According to a district manager of DoubleRise Beijing Technology, a large distributor of iPhones, the smartphones are offered with discount at their own initiative.

Apple usually discourages retailers from offering discounted iPhones. The standard prices are used on Apple's Chinese website.
