Never before has the United States gone so far in their support of Israel: Donald Trump said Thursday he was in favor of recognizing Israel's sovereignty over the Golan, a land conquered from Syria in 1967 and then annexed to Syria. 1981 by the Zionist state. The US president has defended any interference in the Israeli election, but there is no doubt to which leans his preference.

The media also mention possible problems with Moscow, the main support of the Syrian regime of Bashar al-Assad. Tensions with Russia - which Benyamin Netanyahu is still courting to convince her to block Iranian influence in Syria - could now be more overt.
