The price of gasoline and diesel sold at gas stations across the country continued to climb for the fifth week.

Liquefied petroleum gas and LPG vehicle fuels, which were available to the public, were worth 797.4 won per liter.

According to the Korea National Oil Corporation, the price of gasoline at the nation's gas stations for the third week of this month rose by 16.2 won from the previous week to 13,75.5 won.

The average price of gasoline has fallen week on week since the fifth week of October last year, but has continued to rise since the third week of last month.

The price of the third week of February, which was changed to the upward trend, was 0.2 won, the fourth week of February was 3.0 won, the first week was 4.4 won, the second week was 9.0 won and the third week was 16.2 won.

By brand, petrol prices were the cheapest, and gasoline prices rose 14.6 won from the previous week to 1,344.5 won.

The most expensive trademark was SK Energy, which climbed 16.6 won from the previous week to 1,389.3 won.

By region, the price of gasoline in Seoul, the highest-priced region, rose 13.4 won from the previous week to 1,468.5 won per liter.

The lowest price area was 2134 won higher than Jeonju in Daegu.

The Korea National Oil Corporation predicted that "prices of domestic products will soar as international oil prices rise due to a decrease in US crude oil and petroleum product inventories."

Dubai oil, which Korea imports mainly, traded at $ 67.7 a barrel, up $ 0.3 from the previous week.

As part of measures to prevent fine dust, ordinary people can buy LPG vehicles next week, while fuel for automobile butane is 797.4 won per liter, which is 42% cheaper than gasoline price.
